Paris is many things to many people, the city of lights, the city of love, a romantic paradise, an artist haven, a historic hub… To me, Paris is a photographers dream! There isn’t many places where everywhere you look there is a perfect setting for a photo. I was lucky to pass through Paris for my second time late last year and have finally found some time to sort through my many, many photos (seriously 2015 is flying by!). So before I say too much, I’ll let the photos do all the talking. Here is my photo diary from Paris, La Ville Lumière…
THE SPOTS: TO GO
The Seine is a great place to start, wandering along it’s shores and across it’s bridges, including the love lock bridge. I was lucky enough to be here before they removed the locks this year.
The Eiffel Tower – There is many a view of the famous tower to be had throughout Paris. I headed to Jardins du Trocadéro just before sunset and would definitely recommend it!
The Lourve is another amazing place to visit at sunset. I was amongst many photographers capturing the reflections on the water around the museum. As I headed back to the hotel there was a cellist making use of the beautiful acoustics the archways and old buildings offer.
Musée d’Orsay – With so many historical paintings and sculptures to see, I was a tad excited to visit this place. The museam also has some great view points of the city from the cafe and rooftop.
Le Palais Royal gardens is the perfect place to chill out from all the walking, so much walking! Or grab a coffee at Ten Belles!
There are so many places to explore in Paris. I can’t wait to go back and do it all again!
Oh and if you are looking for a great hotel I’d recommend Hôtel Crayon, it’s located in the 1st district right near the Lourve. It’s a great location close to everything, a cute boutique hotel and pretty affordable (for Paris), check it –
